The Santa Cruz Hostel has the capacity to sleep up to 45 people. Dorm rooms can sleep between 5-6 people and can be male only, female only, or mixed gender.

Private rooms are available for individuals, couples and families. All rooms have shared bath facilities located in each of the sleeping cottages.

• Oct. 1 thru May 31: $22 adult HI members (add $3/night for non-members)
• June 1 thru Sept. 30: $25 adult HI members (add $3/night for non-members)

• Small Private First/Second (shared bath), sleeps 1-3 persons:
  HI Member rates start at $55/night for 1-2 persons; $65/night for 3 persons
  



• Large Private Third/Fourth (shared bath), sleeps 2-4 persons:
  HI Member Rates start at $60/night for 2 persons plus $10 for each additional person
  



• Master Room Fifth (Private Bath), sleeps 3-5 persons:
  HI Member Rates start at $75/night for 3 persons plus $10 for each additional person
  



• HI Member Special:
  Membership of One adult will extend to families of 5 persons or less sharing 1 room
  



• Holiday Surcharge Dates:
  Private rooms booked on the following dates will have a $5-10/night surcharge added to the total bill: Oct. 31, Nov. 26-28, Dec. 24-26, Dec. 31-Jan. 1, Feb. 13-14, May 28-31.

PRIVATE COTTAGES

• Minimum of 6 guests required. Cottages sleep 6-11 persons in 2-3 rooms.

Access and Office Hours: 8:00-11:00 am / 5:00-10:00 pm

• Quiet hours and Curfew begin at 11:00 pm nightly;
  All guests must be within their cottages at this time.
• Access is not available to the hostel from 11am-5pm daily (including rooms)
• Alcohol & drugs not allowed on hostel property;
  Smoking outside only
• Free linens are provided; Outside linens not allowed
• 7 night reservation max.
  Extensions granted only after the 7th night based upon hosteller conduct and availability. Maximum stay per calendar year is 14 days. No extensions will be made beyond 14 days and guests may not make back to back reservations to exceed the maximum 14 day limit if staying over December 31st (you will need to check out for a minimum of 7 days).
• Any changes or cancellations to reservations must be made 48 hours prior to your arrival date to avoid being charged.
• All guests are encouraged to recycle and clean up after themselves.
• Payment by: US currency, travelers’checks, Visa, MasterCard.
• Wheelchair Accessible

In the tradition of hostelling, we also encourage you to arrive by foot, bus, or bike!

Reservations are recommended all year and essential from May to September.
